    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Mother/Baby

    Location

    Philadelphia, PA | Mother/Baby Unit

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | At least 1–2 weekends per month required | No holidays

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide family-centered postpartum and newborn care within a multidisciplinary maternity unit (32 beds)
    • Deliver antepartum care including antepartum monitoring and intrapartum support
    • Float to Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed — experience in both settings is required
    • Care for a diverse urban population across a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
    • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure evidence-based, compassionate care
    • Support patient and family education throughout the childbirth experience
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Fetal monitoring experience required (certificate not required)
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
    • Experience in both Labor & Delivery and NICU settings required for float eligibility
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Strong background in postpartum and newborn care
    • Experience with antepartum monitoring and high-risk obstetric patients
    • Familiarity with caring for diverse, urban patient populations
