    Registered Nurse – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) | Onsite | At least 1–2 weekends per month required | No holiday requirement

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide family-centered antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care within a 32-bed maternity unit
    • Float between Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed
    • Perform antepartum monitoring and fetal monitoring throughout patient care
    • Deliver postpartum and newborn care to a diverse urban patient population spanning a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure patient safety and positive birth experiences
    • Support patient and family education throughout the childbirth experience
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery and/or LDRP nursing
    • Experience in both Labor & Delivery and NICU settings (float capability required)
    • Proficiency in postpartum care, newborn care, and antepartum care including antepartum monitoring
    • Fetal monitoring experience required (certification not required)
    • Current BLS and NRP certifications
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for diverse urban populations across a range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
    • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in maternal and newborn care
