    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19140!

    Job Title

    RN – Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)

    Location

    Philadelphia, PA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide family-centered antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care within a 32-bed maternity unit serving a diverse urban population
    • Float to Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed; experience in both settings is required
    • Perform antepartum monitoring and fetal monitoring throughout patient care
    • Deliver postpartum and newborn care in alignment with evidence-based practices and patient safety standards
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to support the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and families
    • Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:3, which may vary based on unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state equivalent
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an LDRP, Labor & Delivery, or related maternal-newborn setting
    • Experience in both Labor & Delivery and NICU environments
    • Proficiency in postpartum care, newborn care, and antepartum care including antepartum monitoring
    • Fetal monitoring experience required (formal certification not required)
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Availability for at least 1–2 weekends per month; no holiday requirement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for diverse patient populations across varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
    • Familiarity with high-acuity maternal or neonatal cases in an urban hospital setting
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary care environment
