    Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

    Location

    Orlando, FL | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery and Mother Infant Unit setting during night shift hours
    • Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
    • Support postpartum (PP) and LDRP care as needed within the unit
    • Assist with Level I Nursery care as applicable
    • Complete and pass the required Relias Fetal Monitoring course/exam proctored by the unit prior to start — candidates who do not pass will be unable to begin the assignment and may not retest for 6 months
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
    • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • Must successfully pass the Relias Fetal Monitoring proctored exam prior to assignment start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), or LDRP settings
    • Familiarity with Level I Nursery care
    • Previous travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery unit
