    Key Responsibilities
    • Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
    • Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary.
    • Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.
    • Assists physicians in patient examinations and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
    • Interacts with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at time of discharge, and informs them of hospital procedures.
    • Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
    Required Qualifications
    • Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
    • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
    • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
    • Strong ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques effectively.
    • Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
