    Job Title

    Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Labor & Delivery

    Location

    Odessa, TX | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 Positions Available

    Key Responsibilities
    • Maintain shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor & Delivery patients
    • Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
    • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
    • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
    • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
    • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
    • Fetal Monitoring certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Local candidates will not be considered for this position
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience managing high-acuity obstetrical patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
    • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
    • Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
