Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe delivery outcomes
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho or a compact state license
- Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Ability to work night shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RFC (Registered Fetal Care) or NFC-LD (Nurse Fetal Care – Labor and Delivery) certification or equivalent experience
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
