Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an overflow unit supporting post-surgical and observation patients
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:6/7 while adapting to a transitioning team nursing model
- Participate in on-call duties and weekend rotation as needed
- Float between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally required
- Adhere to all facility compliance, submission, and holiday coverage requirements, including willingness to work holidays falling within the assignment period
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
- At least one prior completed travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible
- BLS certification required; all certifications must be current or have a documented renewal plan at time of submission
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of RN experience preferred
- EPIC electronic health record experience preferred
- Experience working in overflow, post-surgical, or observation unit settings
