Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients in an 8-bed unit following AWHONN Standards for patient ratios
• Care for OB/Nursery patients as well as occasional Gynecological Surgery and other women's services cases
• Utilize MediTech EHR for documentation and patient management
• Fulfill weekend rotation on an every-other/as-needed basis
• Respond to call requirements and float to other units as needed
• Demonstrate charge nurse capabilities when required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid for practice in the state of Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of OB/Labor & Delivery experience
• Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS
• Charge nurse experience required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MediTech EHR system
• Familiarity with AWHONN standards and OB/Nursery patient populations
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and team communication skills
