Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery / Antepartum

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk antepartum care for pregnant patients requiring closer monitoring or specialized treatment prior to labor and delivery
- Manage and monitor patients with conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, preterm labor, or risk of early delivery
- Care for patients experiencing vaginal bleeding, placental complications, or multiple-gestation pregnancies
- Perform and interpret basic fetal monitoring throughout the antepartum and labor and delivery continuum
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and fetal outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience
- Active and in-hand certifications required at time of submission: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Fetal Monitoring
- Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license, active and in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
- Must be able to complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract
- No open background case hits or license hits will be accepted
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics or antepartum nursing
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition
- Experience with medication safety assessment platforms
