    Key Responsibilities
    • Independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the OB unit
    • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates all assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
    • Provides age-appropriate care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
    • Manages supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel across hospital departments
    • Adheres to all Standards of Nursing Practice and hospital policies regarding confidentiality, advance directives, and ADA compliance
    • Demonstrates clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills with a commitment to improving quality of patient care
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of one year of acute care experience as an RN
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Current ACLS certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • STABLE certification required
    • Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate
    • Effective written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient computer skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or obstetrics nursing
    • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
    • Familiarity with unit-specific clinical skills in an OB setting
