Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a maternity/labor and delivery setting throughout the night shift
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and best practices in maternal-newborn care
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in maternity, labor and delivery, or a related maternal-newborn nursing specialty
- Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday on night shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Experience with high-risk labor and delivery cases
