    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Location

    Los Angeles, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a Low and High Risk Labor and Delivery setting
    • Utilize external fetal monitoring and demonstrate recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
    • Circulate for C-section procedures within a unit that includes Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum areas
    • Float to Perinatal unit as needed
    • Participate in mandatory on-call shifts, expected approximately 2 times per month in addition to scheduled shifts
    • Work 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) and be available for most holidays
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN license required at time of submission
    • Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • AHA BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NRP certification required
    • AWHONN Advanced certification required
    • Candidates must be free of license restrictions, disciplinary actions, board investigations, or background findings
    • Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the travel rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-acuity OB environment with OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia support
    • Familiarity with unit systems including SBAR, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts
    • Experience with both low and high risk Labor and Delivery patient populations
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
