Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a Labor and Delivery setting supporting both low and high-risk cases. Work within a unit encompassing Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum areas with 24-hour OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage.
Provide direct nursing care to a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a Labor and Delivery setting supporting both low and high-risk cases
Utilize external fetal monitoring and recognize and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
Circulate for C-section procedures as required
Float to Perinatal unit as needed based on staffing requirements
Work within a unit encompassing Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum areas with 24-hour OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage
Utilize unit systems including SBAR communication, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
Active California RN license required at time of submission
Epic EMR experience required
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
