Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36-48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis, care issues, and appropriate interventions
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to promote health and a safe environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a safe, healing, and caring environment
• Rotate through Post-Partum to provide couplet care for mothers and newborns in addition to Labor and Delivery duties
• Participate in discharge planning and provide health education to patients, families, and the treatment team

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor required
• Minimum of two years of recent Labor and Delivery experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience with couplet care (mother and newborn) in a Post-Partum setting
• Prior experience in an acute care facility
