Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Self-Scheduling
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Work night shifts on a 36-hour-per-week expected schedule with every other weekend availability
- Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled
- Float within the Labor and Delivery specialty as required
- Complete all required onboarding compliance steps, including labs within 72 hours of contract signing and all compliance documents at least 5 days prior to start date
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- NRP certification required (NRP or AAP accepted)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
- Comfort with floating within specialty scope and adapting to varied patient assignments
- CPI certification (The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
