Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Float to other units as facility needs require
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of prior travel nursing experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby settings
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- PALS certification required (may be obtained within 30 days of start if not currently held)
- AHCA compliance required for Florida placements
- Housing within 50 miles of the facility must be secured prior to acceptance, with address provided upon placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN certification preferred; may be completed onsite if not currently held
- Experience floating across multiple obstetrical or women's health units
- Strong background in antepartum and neonatal care settings
