Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs within a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Document patient care accurately in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
• Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach with patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, procedures, objectives, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professional effectiveness through ongoing education and professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license or pending Alaska state licensure (pending license accepted at time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Previous travel nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
