    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Kearney, Nebraska, 68845!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Location

    Kearney, NE | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Every 3rd weekend requirement (potentially every other based on need) | One major and one minor holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed LDRP unit with 2 antepartum rooms and 1 OR suite, supporting approximately 50 births per month
    • Manage laboring patients at a 1:1 ratio and couplet care at a 1:3 ratio
    • Circulate in C-section procedures — required experience
    • Utilize OBIX fetal heart monitoring system and MediTech EMR for patient documentation and monitoring
    • Support a family-centered, skin-to-skin care model where newborns remain with mothers at all times (no nursery)
    • Float to NICU as needed for feeders and growers only
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • C-section circulator experience required
    • Strong IV insertion skills required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification preferred
    • Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring systems and/or MediTech EMR
    • Familiarity with common L&D diagnoses including magnesium sulfate administration and insulin management
    • Experience caring for patients at 32 weeks gestation or greater
