    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
    • Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, post-op, and OB-GYN procedures
    • Attend low-risk and high-risk deliveries; support GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery as needed
    • Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
    • Safely administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
    • Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on unit need and individual skill set; staffing ratio of 1:1–3
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
    • Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
    • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification preferred
    • Experience with high-risk deliveries and GYN surgical procedures
    • Familiarity with cooling/warming blankets, cardioversion/defibrillation, and drain management
