Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, post-op, and OB-GYN procedures
Attend low-risk and high-risk deliveries; support GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery as needed
Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
Safely administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on unit need and individual skill set; staffing ratio of 1:1–3
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification preferred
Experience with high-risk deliveries and GYN surgical procedures
Familiarity with cooling/warming blankets, cardioversion/defibrillation, and drain management
