Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, pre-op, and post-op settings across labor and delivery rooms
Circulate and scrub for OB-GYN surgeries, including gynecological procedures and high-risk deliveries
Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support transition nursery and couplet care as needed
Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
Safely administer high-alert medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Float to post-partum and NICU units based on skill set and unit needs

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
Must not be a first-time traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS certification preferred
Experience with low-risk antepartum care and transition nursery
Familiarity with cardioversion, defibrillation, and cooling/warming blanket procedures
