Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13–14 Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 4 Weekend Shifts per Month Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit with a 2:1 patient ratio in a 12-bed unit
- Circulate C-sections as required by unit needs
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed — charge experience is required
- Collaborate with unit technicians and secretarial staff to ensure continuity of care
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (FM) certifications
- AWHONN certification required
- Demonstrated charge nurse experience with willingness to work in charge role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) in a relevant specialty
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
