Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform charge nurse duties as needed on the night shift
- Circulate C-sections as required by unit needs
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health records system
- Collaborate with unit technicians and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification and AWHONN certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) in a relevant specialty
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
- Charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
