Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across an 8-bed LDRP unit, encompassing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Manage and titrate Pitocin drips per unit protocol
• Care for Level 1 Nursery patients at 35 weeks gestation or greater
• Monitor patients using the OBIX electronic fetal monitoring system and read own EFM strips
• Participate in block scheduling with weekend and holiday rotations as required
• Operate RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP as needed on the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Demonstrated skills in labor, postpartum, and nursery nursing within an LDRP setting
• Ability to read and interpret electronic fetal monitoring strips independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing and practice guidelines
• Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring systems
• Prior experience in a Level 1 Nursery environment
