    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Location

    Houston, TX | Labor and Delivery

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients throughout the labor and delivery process
    • Circulate for cesarean section procedures in the OR setting
    • Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal-fetal status
    • Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
    • Float to postpartum unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Texas
    • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
    • Experience with Meditech/CPN EMR platform
