    Job Title

    Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

    Location

    Hendersonville, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide triage, labor support, and delivery care within an 8-bed LDRP unit
    • Deliver postpartum care for mother-baby couplets in both primary and overflow settings
    • Circulate in the OR and provide PACU recovery support as needed
    • Care for sick newborns in the nursery setting
    • Maintain patient safety with a 1:1 ratio during critical situations such as Category III fetal heart rate monitoring or active pushing, and participate in 2-nurse coverage at birth
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
    • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
    • Prior Labor and Delivery clinical experience required
    • Ability to function in a multi-role LDRP environment including triage, delivery, postpartum, OR circulation, PACU recovery, and nursery care
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Charge nurse experience in a Labor and Delivery or LDRP setting
    • Experience managing mother-baby couplets in a postpartum overflow environment
    • Familiarity with fetal heart rate monitoring and Category III response protocols
