    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Henderson, Nevada, 89052!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

    Location

    Henderson, NV | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to normal and high-risk laboring patients, antepartum patients, and couplet care in a Level 3 high-risk facility averaging approximately 250 births per month
    • Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and independently manage high-risk labor and delivery patients
    • Circulate and recover C-section patients in on-unit OR suites
    • Titrate drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
    • Read and interpret fetal monitor strips independently using the Cerner EFM system; ACLS and AFM certification required
    • Float to postpartum/mother-baby and other units as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • AFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring) certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Must be independent and confident in vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and management of high-risk laboring and antepartum patients
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a high-risk or Level 3 Labor and Delivery setting
    • Familiarity with Cerner EFM documentation systems
    • Experience circulating and recovering C-section patients
    • Comfort floating to postpartum/mother-baby units
