    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Location

    Greensboro, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Scheduled as Needed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting on an 18-bed unit
    • Float as required to Mother Antepartum Unit (MAU), Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and OB Special Care (OBSC)
    • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
    • Operate Triton and SurgiCount systems as part of unit protocols
    • Complete a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) as required for all RN travelers
    • Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, average 2–4 hours)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
    • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
    • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    • Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to start
    • Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
    • No open background cases permitted
    • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
    • Experience with high-acuity laboring patients
    • Familiarity with floating across multiple OB-related units
