Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Scheduled as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity, 18-bed Labor and Delivery unit
- Float as required to Mother Antepartum Unit (MAU), Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and OB Special Care (OBSC)
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Operate Triton and SurgiCount systems as part of unit protocols
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including weekend and holiday rotations
- Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned (non-billable, average 2–4 hours)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- All RN applicants must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- Experience with high-acuity laboring patients
- Familiarity with Triton and SurgiCount systems
