Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with complex problems.
Perform patient assessments incorporating physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs, and synthesize data to determine priorities of care.
Circulate for C-sections and perform OB triage as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, update, and evaluate individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
Perform bedside point-of-care testing and apply healthcare organization standards, policies, and procedures in the delivery of care.
Participate in unit performance improvement activities, cost-effective care initiatives, and professional development efforts.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
Ability to circulate for C-sections and triage OB patients.
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program.
Preferred Experience / Skills
BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing.
