    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with complex problems.
    • Perform patient assessments incorporating physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs, and synthesize data to determine priorities of care.
    • Circulate for C-sections and perform OB triage as required.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, update, and evaluate individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
    • Perform bedside point-of-care testing and apply healthcare organization standards, policies, and procedures in the delivery of care.
    • Participate in unit performance improvement activities, cost-effective care initiatives, and professional development efforts.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
    • Ability to circulate for C-sections and triage OB patients.
    • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC).
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
    • Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing.
