Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
• Provide postpartum care and newborn assessment following delivery
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Arizona
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Prior Labor and Delivery or LDRP nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a low-volume or critical access hospital setting
• Comfort working independently in a lower-census environment with approximately one birth per day
• ACLS certification
