RN – Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Labor and Delivery department
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
- Apply specialized L&D clinical skills to support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
