Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care in an LDRP setting, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum couplet care
Circulate in the OR for cesarean section procedures
Perform and interpret continuous fetal monitoring using GE and OBIX EFM systems
Titrate Pitocin drips and manage other titratable medications per protocol
Adhere to AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines and unit policies including call, standby, and floating requirements
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgical techs and charge nurses who may carry patient assignments
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Demonstrated LDRP experience including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Experience with couplet care
Ability to circulate in the OR for C-section procedures
Competency in fetal monitoring and Pitocin titration
Preferred Experience / Skills
Familiarity with GE and/or OBIX electronic fetal monitoring systems
Experience working in a lower-volume or critical access hospital setting
Comfort working in a unit where OB/Neonatology and Anesthesia are not in-house 24/7
