Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an LDRP unit with 10 LDR beds, 3 triage beds, and 2 OR suites
- Maintain a patient ratio of 2 laboring patients per RN
- Operate and monitor patients using GE monitoring systems, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV Pumps, and CADD epidural PCA equipment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Perform and assist with unit procedures including inductions, cesarean sections (C/S), and spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD)
- Collaborate effectively with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members on night shift
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Virginia (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to wear OR scrubs as required by unit dress code
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- ACLS certification
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented personality
