Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with an average daily census of 50 across 63 beds
- Support and manage care for premature infant cases within a Level 2 Trauma facility
- Collaborate with a team of approximately 30 physicians to deliver safe, effective obstetric care
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification required
- Active driver's license required and must be included in submission packet
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) certification in a relevant specialty preferred
- Experience caring for premature or high-risk neonates
- Prior experience in a Level 2 Trauma or high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
