Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit supporting an average daily census of 50 across a 63-bed department
- Collaborate with a team of approximately 30 physicians to deliver safe, high-quality obstetric care
- Monitor and interpret fetal monitoring data to assess maternal and fetal well-being
- Care for premature and high-risk infants as part of a Level 2 Trauma-designated facility
- Maintain active certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active BLS certification required
- Active NRP certification required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Active driver's license required at time of submission
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
- Experience caring for premature or high-risk neonatal patients
