Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor and interpret fetal monitoring data to assess maternal and fetal well-being
- Care for premature infants as needed within the unit's scope
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians in a Level 2 Trauma-designated facility
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to unit protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Active driver's license required at time of submission
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) certification in a relevant specialty
- Experience working in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with premature infant care and related protocols
