Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a high-volume acute care setting
- Monitor and manage care for premature infants as needed
- Collaborate with a team of physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Apply NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) skills in time-sensitive clinical situations
- Support patient care across a 63-bed unit with an average daily census of 50
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification required
- Active driver's license required and must be included in submission packet
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) Certification preferred
- Experience working with premature infants in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with Trauma Level 2 facility environments
