Contract | 8-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit during night shift hours
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor using continuous fetal monitoring
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting clinical staff as needed
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for obstetric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or acute care Labor & Delivery setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong ability to adapt quickly in a travel/contract environment
