    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days or Nights (3x12-hour shifts) | 6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 6:45 PM–7:15 AM | Every third weekend required | On-call required (two 12-hour shifts per 6-week period)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting within an acute care hospital
    • Manage patient ratios of 1:2, 1:1, and 1:3 couplet assignments based on unit needs
    • Deliver high-risk obstetric care, including continuous fetal monitoring and maternal assessment
    • Provide couplet care for mother and newborn throughout the postpartum period
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
    • Participate in on-call shifts and respond to emergency staffing needs as required, including potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
    • Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • AWHONN Beginner and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
    • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
    • Experience with couplet care and high-risk OB
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • AWHONN Advanced certification
    • STABLE program certification
