    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Location

    Everett, WA | Acute Care – Women and Children's Pavilion (Labor and Delivery / High Risk Perinatal)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-risk perinatal unit including labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum settings
    • Perform and document sterile vaginal exams (SVE required – hardstop); monitor and interpret fetal monitoring strips in accordance with AWHONN standards
    • Staff labor at a 1:1 ratio, antepartum at 1:2–3, and postpartum couplets at 1:3 with CNA support
    • Participate in triage coverage alongside skilled RN team in a 7-bay triage area
    • Float to Postpartum unit as needed
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including delivering providers, CRNAs, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators available 24/7
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
    • Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
    • Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) – this is a hardstop requirement
    • Availability to work weekends and commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
    • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a facility handling 200 or more deliveries per year (candidates from facilities with 100–200 deliveries will be considered)
    • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
    • Experience in a Level II or higher trauma or perinatal care environment
    • Prior experience in antepartum or high-risk perinatal care settings
