    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide high-risk perinatal nursing care in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit with 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and a 7-bay triage area
    • Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in active labor, 1:2–3 in antepartum, and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support
    • Participate in triage staffing alongside a skilled RN team covering each shift
    • Float to Postpartum as needed to support unit staffing requirements
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including delivering providers, CRNAs, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators available 24/7
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
    • Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) — hard requirement
    • Availability to work weekends and commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
    • Must not reside within a 50-mile local radius of the facility
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a facility performing 200 or more deliveries per month; candidates from facilities with 100–200 deliveries will be considered
    • Prior experience in high-risk perinatal or Level III perinatal care settings
    • Familiarity with EPIC charting system
