Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk perinatal nursing care within a Level III unit encompassing labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, triage, and OR/PACU settings
- Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in active labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2–3 in antepartum
- Participate in triage care as part of a skilled RN team covering a 7-bay triage area
- Float to postpartum as needed, including between sister facilities nearby the contracted location
- Perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) — required hardstop competency
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
- Demonstrated competency in sterile vaginal exams (SVE) — mandatory
- Willingness to float to postpartum and, when required, to nearby sister facilities
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a facility performing 200 or more deliveries per month
- Candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Prior experience in high-risk or Level III perinatal care environments
