    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel Contract)

    Location

    Elko, Nevada

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Per Week Guaranteed | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an LDRP unit encompassing Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Triage, Postpartum, and Nursery
    • Manage and monitor patients experiencing spontaneous vaginal delivery, cesarean section, OB triage, and nonstress testing
    • Perform fetal monitoring, interpret findings, and implement appropriate interventions
    • Manage high-acuity obstetric conditions including hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, and hypertensive crisis
    • Provide postpartum couplet care and newborn care within a Level 1 Nursery setting
    • Float to other departments as needed based on patient census and departmental needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Nevada
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
    • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
    • Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
    • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
    • Demonstrated experience with SVD, cesarean section, OB triage, postpartum care, nursery, and management of obstetric emergencies
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with common obstetric diagnoses including antepartum, intrapartum, inductions, and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia
    • Familiarity with Omnicell Medication Dispensers, Baxter Pumps, Masimo Monitors, and GE Centricity Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring equipment
    • Prior experience with Centricity and/or MEDHOST electronic health record systems
    • Adaptable, collaborative, and team-oriented work style with strong clinical knowledge base
