Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor, including interpretation of fetal monitoring strips
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, including oxytocin and epidural support coordination
- Educate patients and families on labor progression, delivery expectations, and postpartum care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Postpartum nursing experience
- Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric situations
