Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery in Dickson, TN

Manage and monitor patients across LDRP, OBED, and NICU intermediate care settings with appropriate patient ratiosassist with and support obstetric procedures including C-sections, vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries, circumcisions, and intra-uterine monitoring. Document accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic systems; operate unit equipment including IV pumps, infant warmers, PCA pumps, bili-blankets, and tele-med robot.

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays | 8-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Labor, deliver, and recover mothers, including assessment and transition of the newborn immediately following delivery
• Manage and monitor patients across LDRP, OBED, and NICU intermediate care settings with appropriate patient ratiosassist with and support obstetric procedures including C-sections, vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries, circumcisions, and intra-uterine monitoring
• Recognize and respond to OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Conduct daily safety and patient experience rounding on all assigned patients
• Document accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic systems; operate unit equipment including IV pumps, infant warmers, PCA pumps, bili-blankets, and tele-med robot

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, including the ability to labor and recover the mother and receive and transition the newborn
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal monitoring training and certification
• Experience with inductions including Pitocin and Cervidil administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing OB emergencies including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Familiarity with Meditech and CPN documentation systems
• Cross-training or experience in both LDRP and NICU intermediate care settings
