Perform daily patient rounds to ensure quality care, coordinating and addressing any unmet patient requirements.

Assess, intervene, and reassess patients' pain and symptoms promptly, taking appropriate action per standard operating procedures.

Report and accurately document pertinent patient observations and reactions to the appropriate multidisciplinary team members, ensuring timely interventions and referrals.
Initiate discharge planning and patient/family education as early as possible, and delegate nursing interventions appropriately within scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or a Compact State Agreement, required prior to start date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), required prior to start date.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), required prior to start date.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics, required prior to start date.
S.T.A.B.L.E. program certification, required prior to start date.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
Experience working within an interdisciplinary care team in an acute care or hospital setting.
