    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Nights

    Location

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit with a 45-bed, 2-OR capacity
    • Manage high-risk OB, antepartum, C-section, and vaginal delivery patients at a 1:1–2 patient ratio
    • Administer and monitor drips including magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
    • Utilize EPIC EMR for all documentation and patient management
    • Float across multiple campuses as required
    • Comply with holiday coverage requirements, including working 1–2 of the upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
    • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
    • ACLS certification from AHA required
    • NRP certification required
    • FHM / Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certificate required
    • Minimum of one completed travel assignment within the previous 12 months (no first-time travelers)
    • Current or recent high-risk OB experience in a Level II trauma facility required
    • Antepartum, C-section, and vaginal delivery experience required
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    • Labor & Delivery-specific skills checklist required at time of submission
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Current or recent high-risk OB experience in a Level I trauma facility
    • Postpartum / mother-baby care experience
    • Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
