Key Responsibilities
- Implement the nursing process by delivering effective, relationship-based nursing care to patients and families
- Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive patient outcomes
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations
- Contribute to professional nursing practice through ongoing self-development and leadership
- Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and requirements related to the safeguarding of Protected Health Information (PHI)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two years of Level 3 or Level 4 Labor and Delivery experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, age-specific nursing care using the nursing process
- Commitment to compliance with all organizational policies, standards, and PHI regulations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-acuity Labor and Delivery settings at a Level 4 designation
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary care teams
