    Contract | Night Shift (4x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit supporting both low-risk and high-risk obstetric populations, including a certified nurse midwife population and maternal fetal medicine cases
    • Work within a unit averaging approximately 2,000 deliveries annually, utilizing 8 private labor rooms, 4 private triage beds, and 2 OB operating rooms
    • Perform fetal monitoring and related clinical assessments in accordance with AWHONN intermediate standards
    • Cross-train to Mother/Baby unit as expected; may be floated to NICU (feeders/growers) as needed within scope of practice
    • Maintain compliance with all facility floating policies and scope-of-practice requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (must be in hand prior to start)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • Nursys verification required at time of submission
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Experience in both low-risk and high-risk obstetric settings
    • Familiarity with Mother/Baby and NICU feeder/grower patient populations
